Itinerary Day 1-6:

This tour is a custom sea kayak tour. Departure dates are on request only and for very small groups with higher fitness levels. (no kayaking experience is required)

Fjordlands is an extremly remote area of the British Columbia Coast carved by ancient glaciers into the earth. Campsites are very limited, longer distances need to be covered daily.
The landscape is dominated by massive mountain ranges, extrem remoteness and year round waterfalls. Narrow and steep inlets, a nature lovers dream, a sea kayakers paradise, unmatched in beauty, there is nothing like it on this planet.....trust me.

Sample itinerary:

Day 1: Meet your guides at the Coastal Spirits Lodge on Quadra Island.
Our journey begins with sea kayak instructions and safety procedures and packing the boats. Plenty of paddling along the majestic towering mountains into the mouth of Fjordlands. highlights this day. In the evenings we prepare delicious dinner and deserts.

Day 2-5: The trip continues with several days of paddling deep into these magnificent Fjords.
The area becomes more and more remote, the Coast Mountains rise now 10.000 ft vertical from the ocean. After a few days of paddling we reach the waterfalls of Fjordlands, created by melting ice of the Coast Mountain glaciers. Now the ocean changes its color from a deep green into a beautiful emerald. A wonderful variety of coastal wildlife can be seen on these trips.

Day 6: We begin our return by kayak and shall reach Quadra Island in the late afternoon. End of a magnificent journey.

Like on any wilderness trip, return times and excact itineraries will vary with weather and ocean conditions

The balance of your payment is due 60 days prior to departure. If the payment is not paid when due, Coastal Spirits reserves the right to treat the reservation as cancelled.

• More than 60 days prior to departure, full refund minus deposit
• 60 to 30 days:  50% refund
• 29 days or less:  no refund
