sightseeing in Elk Falls Provincial Park with
it's 1000 year old trees, naturalist-guided rain
forest hikes, native Indian history, rafting and

Day
1:
On the 15 minute ferry ride from Campbell River to Quadra Island, look for
sea lions and pods of orcas. Arrival at the Coastal Spirits Lodge. Meet our
staff and discuss the following days of activities.
Day 2:
Rain forest hike in a beautiful northern temperate rain forest. Discover edible
and healing plants and learn about the magic and importance of the red
cedar tree within the lives of the natives. Enjoy a swim in the warm, clear
waters of remote lakes.
Day 3:
Museum tour. In the afternoon Kayak introduction at Rebecca Spit Provincial
Park. Wildlife watching: Sea Lions, seals, bald eagles, sea and shore birds,
snorkeling.

4:
Kayaking the magical Discovery Islands
Day 5:
Transport to boat dock. Sport fishing trip
among the magical Discovery Islands.
Day 6:
We visit Elk Falls Provincial Park, enjoy beautiful waterfalls and the 1000
year old trees.
Day 7:
Rafting tour on beautiful Nimpkish River, Vancouver Island.
Day
8:
Sea Kayaking historical Granite Bay into the Small Inlet Provincial Park, a
gorgeous Fjord in the northern wilderness of Quadra Island.
Day 9:
Kayak tour on the Chain of Lakes Provincial Park. White sandy beaches, swimming
and rain forest walk.
Day 10:
Check-out at the lodge in the early afternoon. The end of a memorable journey.
All trips depart from Quadra Island.
