Paying For Your Trip
Payment can be made by Visa or MasterCard when booking online or Interac e-Transfer if booking over the phone. Any processing charges or fees are your responsibility.
All tours are priced in Canadian dollars and there is an additional 5% tax required for Canadian businesses called the GST (Goods and Services Tax). Non-residents of Canada, purchasing their tour from outside of Canada are eligible for a 50% tax refund.

If you find it necessary to cancel or reschedule your tour, please let us know as soon as possible.
The standard cancellation policies listed below are subject to change. Please refer to the cancellation details at the bottom of your invoice at the time of booking for the policies applicable to your trip.
Trip Cancellation due to Medical Reasons
Wildcoast Adventures Ltd. will not provide a refund if you must cancel your trip due to last minute medical reasons. Therefore we recommend trip cancellation insurance. Trip cancellation insurance covers you if you have to cancel because of medical reasons.
Tip: Check with your credit card company to find out which types of insurance (medical, “cancel for any reason”, etc.) and amount of coverage they include..
General Cancellation Policies
If you must cancel your trip and we receive your notice:
- More than 90 days prior to trip departure: full refund minus administrative fee
- 30-90 days prior to trip departure: 50% refund
- 29 days or less prior to trip departure: no refund
Trip Cancellation by Wildcoast Adventures
Wildcoast Adventures Ltd.reserves the right to cancel any trip prior to departure due to unusual or unforeseen circumstances outside of the reasonable control of Wildcoast Adventures for any reason including but not limited to safety threats such as natural disasters, pandemics, force majeure or logistical problems that may impede the operation of a trip. Screening measures or restrictions may also apply based on the advice and/or requirements of government or national and international health organizations.
If a trip has to be cancelled, trip participants shall be provided, at Wildcoast’s sole discretion, one of the following: substitute trip or voucher for future trip of equivalent value.
Wildcoast Adventures is not responsible for any incidental expenses or consequential losses that may have been incurred as a result of the cancelled booking such as, but not limited to, non-refundable plane tickets or other travel costs, equipment, etc.
Wildcoast Adventures reserves the right to issue a full refund in lieu of the choices above, in its sole discretion. Wildcoast will make every reasonable effort to contact you as soon as possible if it appears that a trip may be cancelled.
Once you’ve made your booking, we’ll send you regular emails with information on everything you need to know for your upcoming tour including an itinerary, packing list, transportation options, directions, meeting times and frequently asked questions.
Let us know if your trip is for a special occasion such as a birthday or anniversary. We’ll make sure our guides know in order to make it extra special.
If you have special dietary considerations (ex. vegetarian, food allergies), we can provide really excellent menu alternates. You must advise us in advance to ensure we have time to advise our catering. Please note we are not a peanut or nut free facility.
Medical Form and Waivers
We provide each participant with a medical form and waiver, and other forms if required, that must be completed prior to joining our tours. Completed forms are required at least 30 days prior to your tour departure.
Although no previous kayaking or wilderness experience is required, as with any adventure there is always an element of risk. While our trips are not considered to be strenuous or physically demanding, and we do not require a good level of fitness.
We ask that you provide clear and accurate information on the medical form provided when you book your tour. It’s important to note that we are not qualified to evaluate your level of fitness so it is your responsibility to determine whether or not you have an appropriate level of fitness to join one of our trips. Please note that our tours take place in remote areas and evacuations can take a great deal of time and resources.
Passports and Visas
It is your responsibility to ensure that you are in possession of the correct documentation for your travels. Please ensure your passport is valid the duration of your trip. We do not accept responsibility if you are refused entry into Canada.
Gratuities are optional and not included in the cost of your tour. Tipping is an expression of satisfaction with the persons who have provided great service to you on your tour. Amounts are entirely a personal preference; however $5-10 per guide, per day can be used as a general rule.
Photos and Videos
During your trip, staff and guests may take photos and videos that include your image. We may use photos or videos for promotional and or commercial purposes. No remuneration is provided.
