COVID-19 Flexible Booking Policies
As you can imagine, the impact of the coronavirus worldwide has had us reviewing how to safely operate our trips. Safety has always been our top priority, and while we are all keen to get out into the wild, we want to make sure that we can do so responsibly.
While we recognize that for many, this trip is a long and much anticipated adventure, and we are eager to fulfill it, due to the ongoing health crisis many travel restrictions may not allow guests to either get to, or be allowed to, enter our region.
Direction from the Province of British Columbia Government
The government has recently unveiled it’s phased restart plan outlining its recommendations for businesses throughout the Province of British Columbia. This is a fluid plan subject to change and highly dependent on the success of various aspects over the coming days and weeks.
Currently the BC Government has advised against non-essential travel even within the Province of British Columbia. As such, if you are considering an adventure this summer, please contact us ([email protected]) and we will reserve your spot and advise you closer to the trip date as to whether or not your trip will be operating.
We understand that this is an uncertain time and as such are providing more flexibility for guests that would like to wait until a date close to their departure to determine if they will be able to travel to our region and whether or not we are able to operate their trip.
If you are uncertain about being able to arrive for your existing booking, we can…
hold onto your existing booking and if necessary reschedule your adventure once travel and health advisories are lifted
- push your fully transferable trip to 2021 or 2022 at the 2019 pricing (you can provide preferred dates at a later date if you wish), insulating it from next year’s rate increases
cancel your adventure and leave a credit on your account for a future bookings
provide you with a fully transferable gift certificate that never expires
If you feel you must cancel your booking completely, we ask that you…
check with your credit card provider, as some cards do have quarantine and travel restriction allowable refund policies. If you are able to get a refund via that method, it will allow credit card insurance companies to help us weather this storm
contact us at the email or phone number listed below
The fee for cancelling your existing booking regardless of the timing is three percent.
Our Ongoing Commitment
At Wildcoast Adventures, we will continue to follow the guidelines set out by BC Centre for Disease Control, WorksafeBC and the Tourism Industry Association of BC to protect our community, our guests, and our front line staff.
