of the highest chances viewing Orcas in their
natural environment; a great advantage, especially

Orca Camp is suitable for all experience levels.
One of the best selling Orca tours in B.C .....!.

Sea Kayaking with the Orcas is our main activity
but the camp also offers excellent fishing and fly-
fishing and photo opportunities, a pristine glacier
fed fresh water salmon stream is part of our camp.....Click

Trip departure is in Campbell River, much easier
and cheaper to reach than Port Mc Neill or Telegraph
Cove, which saves several hours in travelling time
and more than $250 in travelling costs.
Considering the exceptional success rate, the cheaper
travelling costs and the high quality of the trip,
this package offers some of the best values on the
market. Orca Camp Photo

Another advantage of Orca Base Camp is the use
of unloaded sea kayaks (no camping gear). Unloaded
kayaks are light and easier to paddle, which can be
important during whale encounters, where a good photo
depends on quick maneuvering.
From our kayaks and the beach we can watch Orcas feeding,
playing and in social interaction with other pod members.
We listen to the whale sounds with our hydrophones
and enjoy the awesome wildlife sightings. (other animals
we often see are: humpback whales, dolphins, sea lions,
bald eagles and many others... Click

Note: Higher fitness level - no kayak experience
required.
Difficulty rating: Moderately strenuous.
Max. group size: 6-7 unless otherwise requested
This tour is a little more expensive due to the very
limited amount of seats available. It is a more challenging
nomadic sea kayak expedition for very small groups
only. Because of the extreme remoteness of the area
and very limited campsites we must cover larger distances
daily to reach our camps, therefore a higher fitness
level is required, but no kayak experience is necessary.
This is world class paddling in one of the most beautiful
places on mother earth.....Itinerary,
photos and tour dates.
|
|
A very special tour because of the absolute remoteness,
the towering mountains and spectacular beauty of this
area. Melting ice on Coast Mountain glaciers create
spectacular year round waterfalls which plummet into
the ocean and change the water colour into an emerald
green. Enjoy the islets and hidden coves along the
way and meet the animal residents of Fjordlands. Limited
campsites, spectacular views and landscapes in a very
remote area of the British Columbia coast. Itinerary,
photos and tour dates
